The Sun’s visit
The Sun is a friend of mine. When it comes to visit it shrinks itself down to my size.
Actually a little smaller because it knows I’m easily intimidated.

The waterfall said, “Dude, you seem tense. You reeeeally should just let life flow.”
I said okay, got in my car, drove to Sedenberg Dam Builders, contracted them to build a dam on just the other side of the waterfall, which they did, turning it into just a cliff face.
The new cliff-face old-waterfall said, “I’m not sure you understood.”
I got up in the middle of the night to get some water. That’s when I came upon the creature in my living room.
I introduced myself and asked its name.
The creature hissed and with arms aloft declared, “I am the King of the Vast Netherworlds!”
I said, “Okay, but what do your friends call you?”
The creature relaxed, cleared its throat, and in a soft voice said, “Burt.”
I asked Burt if he wanted a glass of water.
He said, “Yes, please, thanks.”
