Wonder

I was walking through Central Park when I came across Donald Trump sitting on a bench tossing bread crumbs to pigeons.

One of my favorite things in the world is feeding critters, so I asked if I could join Mr. Trump. He said yes and reached into a bag and gave me a whole loaf of Wonder Bread.

I hadn’t seen a W. Bread since I was a tot. I loved the Wonder because it never needed a spread. I would put a slice in my mouth and all my little kid problems would disappear!

Out on a boat with Kasich

Last night I took a row boat out on Lake Erie with Republican Presidential candidate Governor John Kasich. Governor Kasich told me about Lake Erie which he said was built during his administration as an aid to the people who wanted to be fishermen.

I asked if he was sad that he wasn’t winning any of the primaries. He said he was kind of down but was hoping the boat ride would cheer him up.

I said being sad was not a bad thing. It was created by the Universe as a contrast to being happy, so happy would be noticed.

Governor Kasich let himself have a good cry. When he was done I handed him a cheese sandwich from the cooler. He smiled and said, “I see what you mean.”
